I can’t believe I haven’t made a new blog post in close to a year. Albeit I’ve been busy, that is no excuse!

I’ve been to four concerts, a fishing trip, moved my grandmother along with several other things that have kept me away from my computer. I must say, I’ve had a great time doing it too! Something about being on a computer all day for my “real” job really softens my desire to get back on when I get home. =)

I do have some half baked posts on some interesting topics I will be making it a point of finishing soon during the summer.

I hope everyone is doing fantastic and look for some fun things coming soon.

Recently I upgraded my router at home. There was nothing wrong with my old router, I just wanted to upgrade especially since I have a new plasma TV in my basement that is WiFi capable, so I didn’t want my video streaming experience to be hindered due to my router. My old router was a Linksys WRT54GS and was very reliable. It was compatible with the B & G wireless standards but not with the newest standard, N. After doing some reading on the subject the wireless N standard was my best bet for getting the most out of streaming to my television as well as supplying wireless access to my laptops, iPhone and Kindle throughout my house with minimal interference.

Sometimes I wonder where time goes. Seems like just yesterday it was a new year and yet the air is crisp and cool and the colors of fall are everywhere. Which means one thing, winter is just around the corner.

The fall brings not just great scenery and and cool weather but some fun holidays. It’s been way to long since I’ve made a new blog post and just as long since I have worked on updating the site. For that I apologize! The last 6 months to a year have been busy. I bought a house last year and it has proven to drain my time, energy and bank account! I am not complaining by any means, but anyone who has purchased a repossessed home knows exactly what I am talking about. Plus, being a first time home owner I underestimated the amount of tools and items needed to have a house. Hello All —

Just a quick post so you know if you’ve posted a comment here before and were wondering where your post might have gone, it is lost forever and is not coming back. After getting overwhelmed with spam posters and getting around 900 spam posts to moderate a week I decided to clear all the comments from all posts to do a couple things. One, reduce traffic from those ‘bots’ and ‘spammers’ who have posted here before. And two, clear up a lot of the bogus comments cluttering up not only the website but my database. Anyhow I will try to keep up with the comments and such from now on, but this had to be done.

I also updated the intro page to the site and made a quick update to the iTunes Tools download for 64-bit systems as well. I have been working on my ‘commenter’ for a lack of a better name and it’s coming along nicely, still have a few things I need to work out on it before its ready for some beta testing, the first place of which will be right here on my site.

Anyhow I am going to try to get some sleep before I get called for work again, I am on call this week. 🙁
